Narrative:
In class bravo near my destination; engine control gauges indicated a potential fuel control failure and loss of engine imminent. Executed emergency checklist and declared emergency. Due to workload with autopilot was dmi'ed; declared emergency. Upon attempting to squawk 7700; dialed in wrong number (I think 1340) but was task saturated with the emergency. [I] executed emergency landing; direct to numbers able to land with no further incident and shut down upon clearing runway without engine failure. Shut down upon clearing the runway.
