Narrative:

Cockpit access and barrier; I was aft of the barrier in close proximity so that no one could tamper with the barrier during the cockpit crew's break. It got extremely bumpy. I had no jump seat to get to as there were two flight attendants already at door two working business. This is a problem. Where do I go? Should procedure be the cockpit crew always takes barrier down just in case there is this scenario? I did not feel safe not having somewhere to go. This procedure and its application continues to be problematic.
