Advised by cabin crew of possible contamination of potable H2O system by sanitation system type chemicals. Confirmed visually and olfactorily. Had ingested less than 1/2 oz of coffee made with suspect H2O. No ill effects noticed at time or at time of submission (incident 36 hours).

Title: CABIN ATTENDANT INFORMED FLT CREW THAT THE DRINKING WATER WAS CONTAMINATED. FO AND SO HAD CONSUMED A SMALL AMOUNT OF COFFEE MADE WITH THE WATER WITH NO ILL EFFECTS.
Narrative: ADVISED BY CABIN CREW OF POSSIBLE CONTAMINATION OF POTABLE H2O SYSTEM BY SANITATION SYSTEM TYPE CHEMICALS. CONFIRMED VISUALLY AND OLFACTORILY. HAD INGESTED LESS THAN 1/2 OZ OF COFFEE MADE WITH SUSPECT H2O. NO ILL EFFECTS NOTICED AT TIME OR AT TIME OF SUBMISSION (INCIDENT 36 HOURS).
