Narrative:
We were in the climb when the red left oil cas warning went on but the oil pressure gage still indicated over 30 psi. In compliance with the QRH we continued climbing. However the oil pressure started to fluctuate above and below 30 psi but not below 25 psi. At that point we contacted maintenance control and asked them to advise dispatch we were diverting to a nearby regular airport.we did the appropriate checklists; informed the flight attendant and diverted. I made the appropriate logbook entry and advised operations of our divert.
