Narrative:
I was the pilot flying and on the takeoff roll several seconds after the 100 KTS call the captain stated 'I have it; aborting.' I then switched into my first officer duties for abort mindset. I told the tower [we were] aborting xxr. I believe the tower asked 'who is aborting?' to which I repeated '[our flight number] aborting xxr'. He then asked for the reason and I believe I stated generically that we had an engine problem. I stated '60 KTS' as we were slowing and believe I asked the captain if he wanted the passengers to remain seated to which he responded in the affirmative. I then got on the PA and said 'remain seated; remain seated.' I believe the tower asked if we needed any assistance and the captain stated 'no we need to taxi back to the gate' and I repeated that to the tower. He then gave us taxi instructions to cross [runway] xxl to [taxiway] east and hold short of [runway] yyr. As we were taxiing the tower again asked the reason for the abort. The captain stated 'low oil pressure light left engine' and I repeated that to the tower. I then told the captain I would run the 'aborted takeoff checklist' which I read out loud. About the time I was completing the checklist the tower gave us instructions to cross the yy's and go to ground. After we crossed the yy's I requested and was assigned a new gate from ramp. As we were entering the ramp I asked the captain 'have you said anything to the passengers?' he stated no and then gave a PA explaining the situation to the passengers.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: B757-200 flight crew describes a rejected takeoff for a low engine oil pressure light at 120 KTS. It was the First Officer's takeoff; but he did not see the low oil pressure indication when the Captain called for the reject and assumed command. The low oil pressure light extinguished shortly after the reversers were deployed. The Flight Attendant in charge also provides her perspective.
Narrative: I was the pilot flying and on the takeoff roll several seconds after the 100 KTS call the Captain stated 'I have it; aborting.' I then switched into my First Officer duties for abort mindset. I believe the Tower asked if we needed any assistance and the Captain stated 'no we need to taxi back to the gate' and I repeated that to the Tower. He then gave us taxi instructions to cross [Runway] XXL to [Taxiway] E and hold short of [Runway] YYR.
