Narrative:
Taxiing on delta taxiway the signage was confusing as to where delta went and alpha went. I made the wrong turn on alpha at the same time we caught it ATC asked us about being on alpha. We made a 180 and got back on D with no problems. I was confused by the signs although we had the airport diagram out and had briefed; it still caught us off guard since this was the second trip the captain had made to bos.
