Narrative:
During takeoff roll at 100 KTS and 218;000 pounds; an EICAS alert 'left aft entry door open' appeared. Abort initiated immediately. Tower contacted. Emergency declared. Taxied off runway and into holding area where fire department completed an infrared inspection of the brakes and a visual inspection of the tires and air frame. No discrepancies noted by the fire chief. Completed taxi to the gate where the emergency was terminated.

Title: A B757-200 flight crew rejected their takeoff when the aft left entry door EICAS message illuminated at about 100 KTS.
Narrative: During takeoff roll at 100 KTS and 218;000 LBS; an EICAS alert 'Left Aft Entry Door Open' appeared. Abort initiated immediately. Tower contacted. Emergency declared. Taxied off runway and into holding area where Fire Department completed an infrared inspection of the brakes and a visual inspection of the tires and air frame.
