At cruise flight 38;000 ft; 130 west of ZZZ master caution light came on engine # 2 hydraulic low pressure light. Ran the QRH and declared an emergency. Diverted to ZZZ and landed overweight at 135;000 pounds. Upon arrival at the gate the hydraulic system B quantity indication showed RF [re fill].
