Narrative:

On approach after selecting the gear down we received a gear disagree warning message followed by a nose door warning message. The mains showed down and locked but the nose showed in transition. I delayed selecting addition flaps from 20 degrees to prepare for a go around and gave the gear some time to get down and locked. It took the nose gear a little extra time to show down and locked. After receiving a down and locked indication we continued and landed normally. After touchdown the nose wheel steering failed and would not reset. After parking at the gate maintenance was notified. Final flaps were selected descending through 1;000 ft AGL.
