Narrative:
Upon landing runway 25L in las; a storage bin in the aft galley broke free and struck a flight attendant in the head. I was notified during taxi to the gate and requested medical assistance from las ramp. After passenger deplaning; medical personnel treated the injured flight attendant and recommended she be transported to a local hospital for stitches. An ambulance provided transportation. Upon inspection the locking mechanism for the bin appeared damaged. We notified maintenance control via phone and he entered the locking mechanism in the aircraft maintenance system.

Title: A Flight Attendant was struck by a storage bin which broke loose during the landing roll. The Attendant was taken to a local hospital for medical attention and stitches to a wound in her head.
Narrative: Upon landing Runway 25L in LAS; a storage bin in the Aft Galley broke free and struck a Flight Attendant in the head. I was notified during taxi to the gate and requested medical assistance from LAS Ramp.
