Narrative:
I was inbound to north las vegas airport. ATC was nellis AFB approach. I was told by approach control that I was 'in the class B now.' I had just been handed off from las approach to nellis approach. I thought I was close but not in class B. I was under the shelf of the class B; but he said I was just entering the section that goes down to the surface.
