Narrative:

While descending to downwind to tys 23R; the first officer pointed out the known antennas in the vicinity to me. We received a obstacle warning followed by a pull up command. I started the phase one. We at 3;300 ft descending to 3;000 for the visual to [runway] 23R and as soon as I stopped the descent the warning stopped. I started my right base turn and landed uneventfully. I had slightly delayed my base turn and that is what triggered the GPWS. I should have started my base turn exactly abeam higar and this would have managed this threat properly.
