Narrative:
Just prior to descent the captain's windshield shattered at FL350. The weather conditions were dropping at our destination due to approaching blizzard coupled with zero visibility on the captain's side so we declared an emergency. We initiated our descent and approach immediately into our destination and the first officer landed the aircraft without further incident.
