Narrative:
During the preflight inspection; I noticed substantial damage/delaminating of a propeller blade on the number 2 engine. I then immediately notified the captain of the damage. The captain contacted company and maintenance control after inserting the discrepancy in the aircraft logbook. The previous evening we had taken over operation of this aircraft for the last two outbound legs of the day [snow country]. During that preflight inspection and the following post flight inspections I found no damage.
