Narrative:
Approach airport on radar vectors into visual straight in to runway 24 fullerton, reported to tower at 3.5 DME, out on final, gear down, 1/2 flaps. Approach at 120 KTS, at 1 mi final approach speed 100 KT (approximately) full flaps on 1/2 mi final. On T/D gently applied brakes, minimal response, a+eam tower yoke full back, brakes applied full, verified power off, no braking power. Attempted to make taxiway at approach end of runway 6, could not successfully make turn, ran off taxiway into grass and fence. I feel for some reason the brakes failed.

Narrative: APCH ARPT ON RADAR VECTORS INTO VISUAL STRAIGHT IN TO RWY 24 FULLERTON, RPTED TO TWR AT 3.5 DME, OUT ON FINAL, GEAR DOWN, 1/2 FLAPS.
