Narrative:
IFR flight plan bwi to bed FL250. Cleared to descend to cross hfd VOR at 11000 by boston center. Shortly after leveling at 11000, the inner right hand cowl door separated from the aircraft. Checked with flashlight wing not damaged aircraft control normal. Reduced airspeed to 160 and flew on to bed normal landing at bed. Contributing factor: preflight at bwi interrupted by line crew. May not have closed all cowl latches? Correction action: with any interruption start preflight from page one. Same with checklist.
