Narrative:
Returning to home base on a clear smooth day we made a normal approach accomplishing the pre-landing checklist...gump...three green lights. We cleared the fence; no horns; warning light; and still 3 green lights. Made a perfect landing in the touchdown zone. An eyewitness account by flight instructor who was in an aircraft with a student at the departure end of the runway reported the landing gear down over the fence; perfect landing centerline of the touchdown zone; then a puff of smoke and the front gear collapsed then the right main. No injuries; no fire; no panic. Cause of landing gear failure being investigated.
