Narrative:

On takeoff at iah right engine spooled rapidly, left engine slow to spool. Level 5 thunderstorm had just passed over airport 10-15 minutes prior. Runway very slick, aircraft veered to left, aborted takeoff below 40 KTS. Before right engine would spool down, the aircraft came near the runway lights. Returned to ramp for aircraft check due to possibility of hitting lights. Maintenance and captain inspected aircraft and found no damage and no evidence of hitting lights. (Taxiing back to ramp, tower reported we did hit our runway light).
