Narrative:

I was in an incident where I lost control of my tractor and it ran into a lav truck. I was running a trip as a luggage distributor and I had dropped off all my bags except those for the hub airports. I went into the makeup area with all the hub stations to drop off the bags for two of the stations but; to my surprise; it said that one of the flights was already at its gate but wouldn't leave until almost three hours later. [However;] my scanner wasn't set right so the time on it was not accurate. As a result I had no way of telling what time it really was and when I saw the flight was already on the ground it made me think I was falling really behind on time; so I got into a kind of hurry mode. I drove out to the gate where that trip was and dropped off the three bags on the orange carts and drove off in a hurry. Right around the corner was a turn that I decided to take because; that way; it would be a straight shot to drop off one of the other flights' bags if the plane wasn't at its gate and get back to the assignment room as soon as I could. Right when I took that turn I tried pressing the brake but ended up pressing both the brake and gas pedal at the same time and when I tried to readjust I was already mid-turn and my body had started to slide from the inertia. I ended up falling off the tractor but was able to land on my feet; running to prevent myself from falling; however the tractor kept turning and ran into a parked lav truck and then bounced into another lav truck and ran into some dollies which slowed it down enough for me to catch up and firmly press the brake down with my hand. I had been in the middle of grabbing and pulling the seatbelt across my body [while already] in motion; until I got to the turn where I had to release the belt so; at the time of the incident; I was not wearing a seatbelt--a major mistake on my part.

Title: A baggage tractor driver; hurrying because he had no accurate way to determine the time relative to the scheduled departure time of flights to which he was delivering bags; attempted to take a turn at too high a speed and was ejected from the vehicle. The unmanned baggage vehicle continued uncontrolled and struck two lavatory trucks and several baggage carts.
