Narrative:
Aircraft X and Y both experienced moderate turbulence and were requesting lower. I called G57 and gave them the information and make my point-out and request for control. The G57 controller told me that he will have to call me back. You've got be kidding me; this was severe and people are getting hurt while I was waiting for coordination. Recommendation; fix this known problem before something tragic happens.
