Narrative:
Upon gate arrival at dfw, we were told that while parked on ramp entrance north stub, another aircraft's wingtip hit the tail of ours while he taxied by us. We requested an inspection and the aircraft was taken out of service. No contact was felt by anyone aboard our aircraft.

Title: TAXIING ACFT Y HIT PARKED ACFT X TAIL WITH ITS WING WHILE X WAS AWAITING GATE ON TXWY.
Narrative: UPON GATE ARRIVAL AT DFW, WE WERE TOLD THAT WHILE PARKED ON RAMP ENTRANCE N STUB, ANOTHER ACFT'S WINGTIP HIT THE TAIL OF OURS WHILE HE TAXIED BY US. WE REQUESTED AN INSPECTION AND THE ACFT WAS TAKEN OUT OF SERVICE. NO CONTACT WAS FELT BY ANYONE ABOARD OUR ACFT.
