Narrative:
Weapon incident on our flight both in el salvador and guatemala city. In sal, 2 pocket knives, tagged were brought on board by passenger agents. They were placed in the forward galley drawer in front of jump seat. Passenger agent in gua brought on board a weapon that looked like a gun, wrapped tightly in tape. It was place- in the same drawer with the knives. The fourth weapon appeared during boarding when a passenger, as he was boarding holding a plastic bag, said it was his gun and was told by the passenger agents to give it to the captain. I immediately took it from the passenger. A gua agent was standing between myself and the cockpit and witnessed this whole action. I informed the captain of another gun and placed it in the drawer with the other weapons. Upon landing, I requested an agent or customs official to meet our aircraft so that I could hand over all the weapons. The 2 pocket knives, and so called wrapped gun, which I later found out was a sexual instrument, were not classified as dangerous, therefore the owners were released. However, the passenger who boarded the aircraft with his own gun and bullets was arrested. I later heard him telling the authorities who met our aircraft that the federales in gua escorted him through security and gave him back his weapon. I remember saying to the cockpit that, 'I can't believe all these weapons were boarded.' later during the flight, captain asked if the weapons belonged to the cia men on board. I said no. We had 2 cia men in F/C and we were not told by gua that they were on board. We found out because one of our extra pilots (international relief officer) was seated next to them. As far as we knew, they had no weapons. To the best of my knowledge, I have reported accurately. The following day, I spoke to captain; he had requested that the weapons be put in the belly.

Title: PASSENGERS ON FOREIGN COUNTRY FLT BOARDED WITH VARIOUS WEAPONS.
Narrative: WEAPON INCIDENT ON OUR FLT BOTH IN EL SALVADOR AND GUATEMALA CITY. IN SAL, 2 POCKET KNIVES, TAGGED WERE BROUGHT ON BOARD BY PAX AGENTS. THEY WERE PLACED IN THE FORWARD GALLEY DRAWER IN FRONT OF JUMP SEAT. PAX AGENT IN GUA BROUGHT ON BOARD A WEAPON THAT LOOKED LIKE A GUN, WRAPPED TIGHTLY IN TAPE. IT WAS PLACE- IN THE SAME DRAWER WITH THE KNIVES. THE FOURTH WEAPON APPEARED DURING BOARDING WHEN A PAX, AS HE WAS BOARDING HOLDING A PLASTIC BAG, SAID IT WAS HIS GUN AND WAS TOLD BY THE PAX AGENTS TO GIVE IT TO THE CAPT. I IMMEDIATELY TOOK IT FROM THE PAX. A GUA AGENT WAS STANDING BTWN MYSELF AND THE COCKPIT AND WITNESSED THIS WHOLE ACTION. I INFORMED THE CAPT OF ANOTHER GUN AND PLACED IT IN THE DRAWER WITH THE OTHER WEAPONS. UPON LNDG, I REQUESTED AN AGENT OR CUSTOMS OFFICIAL TO MEET OUR ACFT SO THAT I COULD HAND OVER ALL THE WEAPONS. THE 2 POCKET KNIVES, AND SO CALLED WRAPPED GUN, WHICH I LATER FOUND OUT WAS A SEXUAL INSTRUMENT, WERE NOT CLASSIFIED AS DANGEROUS, THEREFORE THE OWNERS WERE RELEASED. HOWEVER, THE PAX WHO BOARDED THE ACFT WITH HIS OWN GUN AND BULLETS WAS ARRESTED. I LATER HEARD HIM TELLING THE AUTHORITIES WHO MET OUR ACFT THAT THE FEDERALES IN GUA ESCORTED HIM THROUGH SECURITY AND GAVE HIM BACK HIS WEAPON. I REMEMBER SAYING TO THE COCKPIT THAT, 'I CAN'T BELIEVE ALL THESE WEAPONS WERE BOARDED.' LATER DURING THE FLT, CAPT ASKED IF THE WEAPONS BELONGED TO THE CIA MEN ON BOARD. I SAID NO. WE HAD 2 CIA MEN IN F/C AND WE WERE NOT TOLD BY GUA THAT THEY WERE ON BOARD. WE FOUND OUT BECAUSE ONE OF OUR EXTRA PLTS (IRO) WAS SEATED NEXT TO THEM. AS FAR AS WE KNEW, THEY HAD NO WEAPONS. TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE, I HAVE RPTED ACCURATELY. THE FOLLOWING DAY, I SPOKE TO CAPT; HE HAD REQUESTED THAT THE WEAPONS BE PUT IN THE BELLY.
