Narrative:
During the climbout the #1 engine oil pressure warning light illuminated. We shut down the #1 engine and returned for a landing at the departure airport. We taxied to the gate and deplaned with no further incidents.

Title: A DHC-8-100 #1 engine LOW OIL PRESSURE alerted during climbout so the engine was shutdown; an emergency declared; and the flight returned to the departure airport.
Narrative: During the climbout the #1 ENG OIL PRESSURE warning light illuminated. We shut down the #1 Engine and returned for a landing at the departure airport. We taxied to the gate and deplaned with no further incidents.
