Narrative:
A parachuting exhibition was performed at jvl. ATC was contacted en route and clearance was obtained to climb to altitude above jvl and release parachutists from 7500' AGL and 10000' AGL onto the airport grounds. Upon landing the airport manager immediately halted further planned parachuting activity claiming he was not informed. Activity ceased. The parachutists landed 150-200 yds from any personnel and parachuting was conducted under the control of the jvl tower. FSS green bay had been contacted in advance and a NOTAM for the activity filed for the purpose of ATC notification. ATC at jvl was also spoken to and approval was granted prior to the activity. This individual feels that the airport manager may seek to have FAA investigate the parachuting activity even though no known violations occurred. The pilot was informed the airport manager had been informed prior to the parachuting activity and had given his permission to proceed with the exception of allowing the activity to be publicly advertised.
