Narrative:
At the start of the first officer's takeoff roll; with the 'terr' warning system already selected on his 'mini map' and nd; the captain elected to display 'radar' on his nd using his EFIS control panel's rotary selector drop-down 'menu' function. This resulted in an uncommanded test of the radar system including all audible and visual warnings appropriate to both radar and pws systems tests on both pilot's displays. At 80 KTS the 'windshear' abnormal EICAS checklist message was displayed. In the presence of otherwise benign conditions; the takeoff was continued and was uneventful through the departure phase.
