Narrative:
Cleared to descend via Ivane2 by atlanta center prior to majic intersection. Pilot flying was first officer. Very high task load going from a delayed approach handoff to atlanta center and then being cleared to descend via ivane 2. Majic intersection was crossed at 12;000 ft instead of 13;000 ft per procedure. The Ivane2 was verified in FMS on the ground; and the altitudes verified. Atlanta center requested a call to speak to supervisor which I complied with. This aircraft had an efb installed. I find the efb to be very distracting because it interferes with normal cockpit management. We have so few efb installed on the airbus fleet it creates a distraction. The ivane 2 has great detail on chart and is difficult to read on the efb. No clipboard to place the charts. First officer was splitting off the trip in clt due to fatigue.either install efb in all aircraft; or remove all efb. They are a distraction and obsolete.

Title: An A319 on the CLT IVANE 2 crossed MAJIC Intersection at 12;000 FT because the FMGC dropped the 13;000 FT constraint even though it was verified during the preflight.
