Narrative:
We were flying at FL310 when the pilot flying noticed the cabin altitude climbing at around 100 feet per minute. We watched it as we ran the QRH. During the course of this time the altitude kept creeping up and we started an emergency descent. The cabin reached an altitude of 14;600 and the masks dropped. Once we were down to 10;000 feet the cabin started to pressurize back to the schedule. After pulling up to the gate maintenance came on board and told us that a two foot piece of the bag door seal had been blown out.
