Narrative:
Nose gear door would not close. 2 new crew members first flts. Fuel dumped. Return to airport. During dump new crew member made mistakes, if I was not experienced in type, problems could have compounded in very busy environment. Logbook was given to maintenance without fuel dump entered due to confusion. I suggest that airlines do not schedule so that all 3 crew members are new.
