Narrative:
Proceeding on the lasso 2 arrival into mci (kansas city international). Approach told us to turn to 270 degree at karne intersection. 4 mi northeast of this point approach gave us a turn and told us we were almost into another sector's airspace. Both vors showed we should have been on course. This is a 24 year old aircraft with old wiring however I have never had a problem like this before or after the incident, with this aircraft. I am writing this in case any other aircraft might have had a similar problem coming into mci.
