Narrative:
Air carrier was vectored over hpn radar site and was lost in radar bang then reappeared 2 mi east of hpn with traffic 6 mi east of hpn at same altitude. Both aircraft were immediately turned and possible loss of separation occurred.

Title: TWO ACFT WERE RADAR VECTORED TO AVOID LOSS OF SEPARATION, HOWEVER, THE TURNS WERE NOT SUFFICIENT ENOUGH TO PREVENT LESS THAN STANDARD SEPARATION.
Narrative: AIR CARRIER WAS VECTORED OVER HPN RADAR SITE AND WAS LOST IN RADAR BANG THEN REAPPEARED 2 MI E OF HPN WITH TFC 6 MI E OF HPN AT SAME ALT. BOTH ACFT WERE IMMEDIATELY TURNED AND POSSIBLE LOSS OF SEPARATION OCCURRED.
