Narrative:
While on the takeoff roll the left engine quit. I aborted the takeoff; recovered directional control of the plane and advised the tower who then cleared me off the runway. [After clearing I] contacted ground control and was cleared to taxi to the ramp [which I did] without any incidents.

Title: When the left engine of the SW4 Merlin failed on the takeoff roll the pilot rejected the takeoff; recovered directional control; exited the runway and returned to the ramp.
