Narrative:

We had been training in multi-engine emergency procedures. Stalls, slow flight, single engine out procedures, and made several instrument apches and lndgs. On the second from last landing after placing the landing gear selector in the down position and not receiving a 3 green gear down indication, I manually brought the gear down. After a period of approximately 15-30 seconds had passed, we saw a 3 green gear down and lock indication. From this point we continued the landing and executed a touch and go. On the next approach to landing we did not notice any problems from the gear or gear down indicator light and executed another touch and go. On the very last landing, while attempting to execute a short field approach to landing, I landed the small aircraft with its landing gear in the up position after having confirmed a 3 green gear down indication on the gear indicator with my instructor, and not hearing a gear unsafe warning horn after applying full flaps and reducing the throttles both to idle. Prior to touchdown, my instructor and I had no indication that the gear was not down and locked until after we landed and the aircraft came to a stop. The mirror normally installed on the aircraft to check nose gear extension was not installed at the time of the incident.

Title: LIGHT TWIN ENGINE ACFT ON TRAINING FLT LANDS GEAR UP DESPITE GEAR DOWN AND LOCKED INDICATIONS.

Narrative: WE HAD BEEN TRAINING IN MULTI-ENGINE EMER PROCS. STALLS, SLOW FLT, SINGLE ENGINE OUT PROCS, AND MADE SEVERAL INSTRUMENT APCHES AND LNDGS. ON THE SECOND FROM LAST LNDG AFTER PLACING THE LNDG GEAR SELECTOR IN THE DOWN POSITION AND NOT RECEIVING A 3 GREEN GEAR DOWN INDICATION, I MANUALLY BROUGHT THE GEAR DOWN. AFTER A PERIOD OF APPROX 15-30 SECONDS HAD PASSED, WE SAW A 3 GREEN GEAR DOWN AND LOCK INDICATION. FROM THIS POINT WE CONTINUED THE LNDG AND EXECUTED A TOUCH AND GO. ON THE NEXT APCH TO LNDG WE DID NOT NOTICE ANY PROBLEMS FROM THE GEAR OR GEAR DOWN INDICATOR LIGHT AND EXECUTED ANOTHER TOUCH AND GO. ON THE VERY LAST LNDG, WHILE ATTEMPTING TO EXECUTE A SHORT FIELD APCH TO LNDG, I LANDED THE SMA WITH ITS LNDG GEAR IN THE UP POSITION AFTER HAVING CONFIRMED A 3 GREEN GEAR DOWN INDICATION ON THE GEAR INDICATOR WITH MY INSTRUCTOR, AND NOT HEARING A GEAR UNSAFE WARNING HORN AFTER APPLYING FULL FLAPS AND REDUCING THE THROTTLES BOTH TO IDLE. PRIOR TO TOUCHDOWN, MY INSTRUCTOR AND I HAD NO INDICATION THAT THE GEAR WAS NOT DOWN AND LOCKED UNTIL AFTER WE LANDED AND THE ACFT CAME TO A STOP. THE MIRROR NORMALLY INSTALLED ON THE ACFT TO CHECK NOSE GEAR EXTENSION WAS NOT INSTALLED AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT.
