Narrative:
Was climbing out of phx airport. Was given a heading and instructed to climb to 14;000 ft. We were then handed off to another ATC controller and then had TCAS RA and descended. Was questioned by controller. To us it sounded like no coordination of our instructions during handoff. Poor communications and lack of ATC coordination.

Narrative: Was climbing out of PHX airport. Was given a heading and instructed to climb to 14;000 FT. We were then handed off to another ATC Controller and then had TCAS RA and descended.
