Narrative:
Entered left downwind runway 30, mtj, colorado. Noted aircraft taxiing out, no calls made to unicom for advisories. One other aircraft in pattern on a left crosswind. Approach and landing normal. We missed the turnoff for the terminal. First officer announced to unicom and traffic that we would make a 180 degree turn and back-taxi on runway 30. As I turned the aircraft and started to back-taxi, I noticed an aircraft departing, while we were taxiing on the runway. The aircraft flew north of the runway centerline and departed the pattern to the east with the right turn out. Several attempts were made to raise the aircraft on the unicom frequency.
