Narrative:
I was working the d-side or manual position. The newly checked out fpl forgot air carrier X at FL250 while descending cpr X to FL240. I was performing d-side function when a C/a activated and caught my eye, bringing my attention to the radar. At this time, air carrier X at FL250 was northbound deviating around a trw. Cpr Y was southbound out of FL250 descending. They were separated approximately 4 mi latitude. We need 5 mi.
