Narrative:
Atx X was climbing slower than atx Y to FL200. I had atx Y on a heading to go behind atx X but I was still losing room between the aircraft and I turned the atx Y to the right instead of the left trying to zig zag behind the traffic and at the time it was too late to turn right. I had more aircraft than I should have at the time with the person I was working with. I had to do things that I wouldn't normally have to do. If I had a handoff person it might not have happened, but I didn't ask for help.
