Narrative:
Departed runway 18L at orlando. Contacted departure on 124.8 and were given heading 020 degree, climb to 12,000'. Passing 11,000' heard an unreadable call on frequency and tried to contact departure. There was obviously a stuck microphone on the frequency. At 11,600', saw a light twin about to cross our nose from right to left. Made a small evasive movement to the fight and contacted departure on 124.55. We were told to maintain 11,000 and that they had been trying to contact both of us but were unable due to a stuck microphone on the frequency. Light twin reported having seen us and having taken evasive action. Our flight continued to destination uneventfully. Factors appear to have been conflicting clrncs, a stuck microphone on the frequency, and good outside vigilance by both the light twin and our crew. Our passenger were unaware of any conflict.
