Narrative:
Enroute to rctp FL270 per the flight plan 72 miles west of aldas on M765. Vvts asked us to climb to FL310. We expressed our desire to maintain FL270 per our flight plan and were denied. In no uncertain terms we were told to climb and maintain FL310; we complied. We then sent a message to company with new altitude. We were aware of the fly safe NOTAM but had to comply with the clearance issued.I don't believe we could have done a thing about the issue we were forced to comply with the issued clearance.file flight plan around vvts airspace.
