Xx assigned runway 14L. Aircraft was parked at FBO. Pilot: omaha ground, nxxxx at FBO, ready to taxi. Ground: taxi to 14L. Pilot: request progressive. Ground: what is your location? Pilot: FBO (in all cases gave actual name of FBO, there's 2). Ground: taxi to taxiway. Hold for instructions. Pilot: nxxxx (taxied to taxiway and stopped). Ground: make left turn. Pilot: verify left or right turn (left turn didn't look right). Ground: make right turn. Pilot: (after stopping at next taxiway intersection) ground, left turn here? Ground: sorry, turn left and stay with me. Pilot: nxxxx (stopped behind hold short line for run up). Pilot: nxxxx ready for takeoff. Ground: taxi on to 17 and hold. Traffic landing 14R. Pilot: taxi on to 17 and hold. (Traffic appears to be landing north 32L, but unsure). Complied with request. Ground: nxxxx you're on 17. You belong on 14L. Make left turn, taxi to 14L and hold. Pilot: nxxxx (made left turn, taxied to 14L and stopped) was cleared for takeoff shortly afterward. At omaha eppley, 14L threshold is at intersection with 17. Concern is that aircraft was on wrong runway even though it was at the direction of the controller.
