Narrative:

Aircraft were deviating because of WX. We had air carrier X eastbound at FL290. He started flashing (conflict alert) with cga Y, sebnd at FL290, evidently deviating because west 4E had no data block before conflict alert. R16 controller called the 'left' controller and told us to descend our air carrier X. We had already told air carrier X to descend. Conflict alert quit flashing and data block on cga Y disappeared. I advised 'left' controller to call data block back up. Cga Y proceeded to go 30 mi through our sector without pointout from R16. This was reported to supervisor.

Title: ACR WAS DESCENDED TO AVOID A POTENTIAL CONFLICTION WITH ANOTHER ACFT.

Narrative: ACFT WERE DEVIATING BECAUSE OF WX. WE HAD ACR X EBND AT FL290. HE STARTED FLASHING (CONFLICT ALERT) WITH CGA Y, SEBND AT FL290, EVIDENTLY DEVIATING BECAUSE W 4E HAD NO DATA BLOCK BEFORE CONFLICT ALERT. R16 CTLR CALLED THE 'L' CTLR AND TOLD US TO DSND OUR ACR X. WE HAD ALREADY TOLD ACR X TO DSND. CONFLICT ALERT QUIT FLASHING AND DATA BLOCK ON CGA Y DISAPPEARED. I ADVISED 'L' CTLR TO CALL DATA BLOCK BACK UP. CGA Y PROCEEDED TO GO 30 MI THROUGH OUR SECTOR WITHOUT POINTOUT FROM R16. THIS WAS REPORTED TO SUPVR.
