Landing on the south runway left side new runway the 'too low terrain' [warning] went off... All else normal on a VFR day. Seems the aircraft did not know the new runway was there... Landed ... All ok... Just wanted someone to know.

Title: On a VMC approach to the new Runway 17L at CYYC the flight crew of a B737 received a Too Low Terrain EGPWS warning.
Narrative: Landing on the south runway left side new runway the 'Too Low Terrain' [warning] went off... all else normal on a VFR day. Seems the aircraft did not know the new runway was there... landed ... all ok... just wanted someone to know.
