Narrative:
Tower issued takeoff clearance on runway 35L at den, 'turn right heading 010 degrees.' PNF read back clearance including heading. At some time previously an large transport had been issued a takeoff clearance off of runway 35R with the same heading of 010 degrees. At about 8000' we contacted departure control and were told about traffic at 11:30-12 O'clock, 1-2 mi, an large transport, and told to maintain 9000', airspeed of 210 KTS. We told departure that we had the aircraft in sight below us. He then issued a clearance for the large transport ahead of us to turn right to a heading of about 090 degrees, which he did while continuing his climb to 10000'. After the large transport was clear of us to the east, we were told to climb to 10000'. We suspect that our heading after takeoff should have been runway heading about 350 degrees or our takeoff should have been delayed a little longer to provide better spacing with the traffic taking off from the right runway.

Title: REPORTER SUSPECTED POSSIBLE MIX-UP IN CTL INSTRUCTIONS CAUSED CTLR TO VECTOR ANOTHER ACFT TO AVOID A CONFLICT.
Narrative: TWR ISSUED TKOF CLRNC ON RWY 35L AT DEN, 'TURN RIGHT HDG 010 DEGS.' PNF READ BACK CLRNC INCLUDING HDG. AT SOME TIME PREVIOUSLY AN LGT HAD BEEN ISSUED A TKOF CLRNC OFF OF RWY 35R WITH THE SAME HDG OF 010 DEGS. AT ABOUT 8000' WE CONTACTED DEP CTL AND WERE TOLD ABOUT TFC AT 11:30-12 O'CLOCK, 1-2 MI, AN LGT, AND TOLD TO MAINTAIN 9000', AIRSPD OF 210 KTS. WE TOLD DEP THAT WE HAD THE ACFT IN SIGHT BELOW US. HE THEN ISSUED A CLRNC FOR THE LGT AHEAD OF US TO TURN RIGHT TO A HDG OF ABOUT 090 DEGS, WHICH HE DID WHILE CONTINUING HIS CLB TO 10000'. AFTER THE LGT WAS CLR OF US TO THE E, WE WERE TOLD TO CLB TO 10000'. WE SUSPECT THAT OUR HDG AFTER TKOF SHOULD HAVE BEEN RWY HDG ABOUT 350 DEGS OR OUR TKOF SHOULD HAVE BEEN DELAYED A LITTLE LONGER TO PROVIDE BETTER SPACING WITH THE TFC TAKING OFF FROM THE RIGHT RWY.
