Narrative:
There is a specific format for naming latitude/longitude points within jeppesen flight pro on the ipad. The acceptable formats are listed in the jeppesen flight pro guide. You can not copy and paste your routing from your flight plan. Saber instructors are teaching this method and it will result in an erroneous position on the jeppesen ipad app. We discovered this on our transition form gander into new york fir. Our flight plan copied route (per saber instructor guidance) had us way north of our 40n50w entry point. Please advise crews. You must enter lat/longs manually.
