Narrative:
Takeoff roll; at 80 KTS both airspeed indicators agreed. On captain's side at 120 KTS; IAS comparator alert came on. Captain's airspeed had stagnated. [When] cross referenced first officer's airspeed indicator which was increasing normally passing 141 KTS. Captain rejected the takeoff. We executed a 180 on the runway and taxied back to our original gate. Subsequently; brake overheats and eventually at least one fuse plug blew.
