Narrative:
The 10-9 for cle specifically prohibits taxiing from spot 2 to spot 5 along inner J taxiway for aircraft with wingspans of 118 ft and greater. The 737 wingspan is 118 ft. Ramp tower continually gives clearance to taxi from spot 2 to spot 5 along inner J taxiway. This is prohibited. I have found no NOTAM or pilot bulletin allowing the 737 to do this. I refuse and take alternate routes. Other planes illegally take these instructions. This needs to stop.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: A B737 pilot refused taxi clearance at CLE between Spots 2 and 5 because the Airport diagram restricts aircraft with wingspans 118 FT and greater from the Inner J Taxiway between the two spots.
