Narrative:
During training flight with student in small aircraft, the right main gear did not come down the normal way. It seemed to be stuck halfway. Tower confirmed this after making low passes as well as technicians on the ground watching us. After completing all the emergency gear extension procedures and talking to technicians on the ground, nothing changed the situation. The only thing left was to land the airplane. First we flew most of the fuel out of the tanks. I elected to make a normal landing on the runway with the gear down and both engines running. I touched down on the left main wheel first as planned and tried to keep the airplane on the runway as long as possible. The airplane became uncontrollable after the right tip tank hit the runway and the airplane made a 180 degree turn off of the runway. After stopping, nobody was hurt and the tank contained little fuel so there was no real danger of fire.

Title: LIGHT TWIN ENGINE ACFT HAS LNDG GEAR PROBLEM, LANDS GEAR UP.
Narrative: DURING TRAINING FLT WITH STUDENT IN SMA, THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR DID NOT COME DOWN THE NORMAL WAY. IT SEEMED TO BE STUCK HALFWAY. TWR CONFIRMED THIS AFTER MAKING LOW PASSES AS WELL AS TECHNICIANS ON THE GND WATCHING US. AFTER COMPLETING ALL THE EMER GEAR EXTENSION PROCS AND TALKING TO TECHNICIANS ON THE GND, NOTHING CHANGED THE SITUATION. THE ONLY THING LEFT WAS TO LAND THE AIRPLANE. FIRST WE FLEW MOST OF THE FUEL OUT OF THE TANKS. I ELECTED TO MAKE A NORMAL LNDG ON THE RWY WITH THE GEAR DOWN AND BOTH ENGINES RUNNING. I TOUCHED DOWN ON THE LEFT MAIN WHEEL FIRST AS PLANNED AND TRIED TO KEEP THE AIRPLANE ON THE RWY AS LONG AS POSSIBLE. THE AIRPLANE BECAME UNCONTROLLABLE AFTER THE RIGHT TIP TANK HIT THE RWY AND THE AIRPLANE MADE A 180 DEG TURN OFF OF THE RWY. AFTER STOPPING, NOBODY WAS HURT AND THE TANK CONTAINED LITTLE FUEL SO THERE WAS NO REAL DANGER OF FIRE.
