Narrative:
Cleared for the [lga] ILS Rwy22 circle to land Rwy13 in night VMC. First officer was pilot flying. As we turned in on final for runway 13 and started our approach descent; the strong undershooting crosswind caused us to be left of centerline. I was looking outside the aircraft to maintain sight of airport when we received a GPWS warning-caution obstacle. I looked in and saw how low and left of course we were. I told the first officer to level and correct back to centerline. We continued the approach.suggestions: better monitoring of the approach. We had properly planned and briefed the approach.
