Narrative:
On localizer approach, missed approach. Missed approach procedure, right turn, return to localizer outbnd to an intersection. Forgot outbnd was 'back course' or reverse sense. Remembered and corrected. ATC advised me I had concerned them as I was beginning to head toward higher elevation ground. Corrected problem in plenty of time though.
