Narrative:
A controller was working R76 sector talking to air carrier X climbing to FL260 wanting to deviate west of course due to hurricane hugo. He pointed the aircraft out to R15 controller who approved the pointout. A few seconds later, an area supervisor for R15 came over to the controller's sector on the other side of the building started chewing him out concerning the deviation which he just got approved. This situation could cause a midair collision, it distracts you from your controling aircraft and you are humiliated in front of all controllers. This incident also happened to another controller. They should remove you from the sector and talk to you.
