Narrative:
We were on 5 mile final to land when I noticed a green laser pointing into the sky and sweeping in our direction. I warned first officer to avoid looking in that direction. The laser swept across our aircraft twice then turned off. I reported the incident to ATC; we continued to an uneventful landing.
